Picturesque and peaceful, Killcare and Hardys Bay offer an idyllic coastal lifestyle. Residents have beaches and bushland at their disposal and they take maximum advantage of both. Putty Beach is a firm favourite, and the Bouddi Coastal Walk, which stretches all the way to Macmasters Beach, is a local go-to. Bouddi National Park is a natural delight, with walking trails, mountain biking tracks, fishing spots and beautiful beaches that are a world away from the daily grind.

Killcare Village features a general store offering limited grocery shopping and bottle store, an art gallery, hair salon, and boutique shops. Larger shopping malls and supermarkets are just a short drive away. When it comes to dining, Killcare and Hardys Bay is a hidden hotspot. There are fine dining restaurants like The Wildflower Bar & Dining (located inside Bells at Killcare), as well as relaxed beachside eateriesThe Fat Goose and Hardys Bay Bistro.

Killcare is just 1.5 hours from Sydney and is surrounded by national park so it is very peaceful and beautiful and quite secluded from the rest of the Central Coast. Putty Beach at Killcare has a patrolled swimming area and is also popular for surfing, snorkelling and fishing. A wonderful rock pool is located just near the surf club which features a cafe, restaurant and popular wedding venue. Just over the hill is glorious Hardys Bay where you can hire boats, play tennis or just enjoy the wonderful cafes and restaurants and peaceful water views. There are many great walks in the area and if you feel like exploring, the Central Coast has many activities on offer.
